Make sure you turn on advanced features or you won't be able to follow along. Another tip for the not exactly tech geniuses like me, the arrow keys on your keyboard (up, down, back and forward cursor arrows) will allow you to back the video up in 5 second increments. Maybe everybody in the world already knew these things except me. And, wow, this is an amazing offering, thank you so much!

Great video, the only difference on the last one CLA sends the lead vocal to the delay and then sends the delay into the reverb. He talks about that being the main way he does his vocal effects. It's sounds way different then sending from the vocal to Reverb and sending from the vocal to delay both in parallel. Feeding the delay into the Reverb has a much cooler sound. CLA says send the delay into the Reverb smooths out the delay and that's his reason for doing it.. Great video guys, live your channel. Alot of great tips in this video..🙂👍👍👍

Bro could you make a video please on what would be the best route with gain staging for my band? We play through my interace and mac with headphones running out the headphone jack on the interface. Should I keep all my faders at unity? Or is it ok to bring everything down and use faders to try to make the sound better in the headphones. Basically my question is whats the best way to get good sound for band practice/ recording through headphones

would be nice if you used other plugins beside logic native to show examples... Ive personally never used logic.

If you treat production,mastering,mixing engineering etc like learning an instrument it helps! It is intuitive to know that you can't watch youtube videos and instantly become a great guitarist and that it takes practice no matter how good the videos you watch or what info you get. It's clear it takes practice no matter what. With production it is less intuitively obvious that you need to practice because it seems as if it's just learning the right buttons to press. Production is it's own instrument in a way and it helped me a lot to think like that. It makes you practice instead of endlessly looking for someone to tell you how to do what you don't know what you want.

Sure, I can get it to do that if I change it to "beats and time", etc, but why in the hell is "custom" not actually custom??
